Upwey Primary School – Essentials
We were fortunate enough in Yarra Ranges Shire Council to create two playgrounds for Upwey Primary School. The second playground, an essentials structure, was a great success. It featured a unique color scheme of purple plastics with yellow and black steel and green rope. The playground offered plenty of space for children to play and explore, but the most popular feature was the spiral slide, which the kids loved to pile into, creating a “traffic jam.”
This playground also included a variety of other activities such as tube nets, rope climbers, curved slides, hang n glide, pommel walkers, roman rings, interactive panels, and rope walls. Additionally, we also built a cube and slide playground at a nearby council park that is loved by all the kids in the area.
The playground features a range of activities that challenge children physically and mentally, while also promoting social interaction and teamwork. The tube nets and rope climbers are perfect for children to develop their upper body strength, while the spiral slide and curved slide provide fast-paced fun for children looking for a thrill. The hang n glide and pommel walkers are great for children who want to test their balance and coordination. The roman rings, interactive panels, and rope walls offer opportunities for children to use their problem-solving skills, and the playground as a whole encourages children to explore and discover in a safe and fun environment.
