Cranbourne East Primary School – VSBA Inclusive Grant Playground

In partnership with Cranbourne East Primary School and Johns Lyng Group, we proudly manufactured and installed a fully inclusive playground funded by a VSBA Inclusive Schools Grant. Completed in November 2023, this vibrant play space features wheelchair-accessible ramps to the top decks, a stunning purple 1.2m double wave slide, interactive and timber panels, and a bright purple, lime green, and blue color scheme. Designed for inclusivity and fun, the playground is finished with blue synthetic rubber underfoot and green synthetic grass at the ends, offering a safe and welcoming environment for all.

At Safe Play Australia, we are passionate about creating play spaces that promote inclusivity, and Cranbourne East Primary School’s playground is a testament to this commitment. After connecting with the school at the 2022 C4 Conference, we collaborated with them to bring their vision for an inclusive playground to life, thanks to their successful VSBA Inclusive Schools Grant application.

Completed in November 2023 in partnership with Johns Lyng Group, this playground is fully wheelchair accessible, featuring thoughtfully designed ramps that allow all children to reach the top decks with ease. A standout feature is the eye-catching 1.2m double wave slide in a bold purple hue, complemented by interactive panels and stylish timber elements that encourage sensory engagement and imaginative play.

The playground’s vibrant purple, lime green, and blue color scheme, coupled with the soft blue synthetic rubber surfacing and lush green synthetic grass at the edges, creates a visually stunning and safe play environment. This project reflects our dedication to designing and installing spaces where every child feels included and empowered to explore, play, and grow.

We’re honored to have played a role in helping Cranbourne East Primary School create an inclusive community space that will be enjoyed for years to come.
