Ford Park, Ivanhoe – Parkfit
Banyule City Council has installed two new outdoor fitness areas at Ford Park in Ivanhoe, using our Parkfit equipment.
- The first area includes a stretch station, oblique pivot, tai chi wheel, and wobble board. These pieces of equipment provide a variety of options for stretching, targeting the core muscles, improving balance and coordination, and enhancing proprioception.
- The second area includes tai chi wheels, aerobic walker, wobble board, and step ups. These equipment pieces are designed to promote cardiovascular fitness, balance and coordination, and lower body strength and endurance.
- The Parkfit equipment offers a unique and fun challenge for users of all fitness levels, promoting physical and mental wellbeing in the community.
- Regular exercise using this equipment can improve physical health, reduce the risk of injury, and promote overall wellbeing. Additionally, engaging in outdoor physical activity in a community setting promotes social interaction and community wellbeing.
