Mount Evelyn Primary School’s vision for their new playground was clear: a space near the oval that moved beyond the traditional playground concept, designed specifically for older students to enjoy fitness-focused fun. Collaborating with the school, we crafted a design filled with exciting and dynamic elements tailored to engage and challenge students in a way that stands out.

The decision-making process saw the kids take center stage, and their enthusiasm guided the final choices. While all the elements received glowing approval, it was the inclusion of our thrilling ninja pads that won everyone over! These, combined with overhead features like classic monkey bars and the innovative “monkey spin” that spins as students swing across it, bring an unparalleled sense of fun and adventure to the playground. To further enhance the fitness component, we incorporated three distinct climbing elements, adding a layer of physical challenge and variety.

The school opted for a natural color palette, ensuring the playground seamlessly blends with the surrounding landscape, creating a harmonious and inviting space. This thoughtful design not only aligns with the school’s aesthetic vision but also creates a tranquil environment that encourages exploration and active play.
