Tom Roberts Reserve, Point Cook
Welcome to Tom Roberts Reserve, a vibrant and exciting playground located in Innisfail Estate, Point Cook. Developed in collaboration with Coomes Consulting, this playground was designed to bring joy and excitement to the newly established suburb now part of Wyndham City Council back in 2010.
As you enter the playground, you’ll be greeted by the bright red and silver colour scheme that is sure to catch your eye. It features a great T swing with a toddler and strap seat, perfect for little ones to enjoy a gentle swing, and a cute frog spring rocker for the youngest of visitors.
Tom Roberts Reserve boasts not one, but three different play structures. The first structure offers a range of challenging activities, such as a pommel walker, treadmill, steppers, and another pommel walker, treadmill and hang n glide! These activities promote physical fitness, balance and coordination skills.
The second structure is the main event, and it’s sure to get the kids excited! Featuring a great slide, cliff climber, three curved roofs for shade, a fire pole and shop front panel, children can explore their creativity and have fun. The structure also includes a rope net climber that leads to a fire pole or ball climber, which challenges children’s problem-solving skills and spatial awareness.
This playground offers many benefits to the local community. It provides a safe and exciting space for children to play and develop social skills, creativity, and physical fitness. By bringing families and children together, it helps build a sense of community and fosters a sense of belonging.
So, whether you’re a local resident or just visiting the area, be sure to check out Tom Roberts Reserve and let the kids run, climb, slide and swing to their hearts’ content!
