Framlingham Aboriginal Trust, Purnim
We recently had the honor of designing and building a custom playground at the Framlingham Aboriginal Settlement, Purnim in Moyne Shire Council. The playground is a vibrant mix of black, red, and yellow – colors that represent the Aboriginal flag. As a tribute to the Framlingham Aboriginal Trust, we included a custom HDPE panel engraved with their name. The playground features a structure with a double wave slide, stairs, hoop climber, rung climber, spider web, crescent climber, shop front panel, and wave roof for shade. The mulch softfall adds an element of natural play.
The playground also has some fun swing options, including a jitterbug and a post 2 bay swing with a basket seat, strap seat, and toddler seat, all with rubber pads underneath. We believe in providing a safe and enjoyable play environment for all children. Acknowledging the traditional owners of the land and incorporating cultural elements in the playground was an important aspect of this project.
We are proud to have created a play space that honors the Aboriginal heritage of the Framlingham community while also providing a fun and engaging environment for children to play and learn. The playground’s vibrant colors and exciting play equipment are sure to inspire kids’ imaginations and encourage physical activity. We hope that the Framlingham Aboriginal Settlement community enjoys the playground for years to come.
